A simple, sentimental pop song about the loss of loved ones - it was inspired by the final wishes of a local musician friend who requested mourners at his funeral to wear blue.

On the day they moved away, you thought your world would end
Or that distant summer, with a love you thought was true
You hid in your room for days, when they left for someone new

Your eyes cried blue tears, for the love you’d lost
You gave so much to them, before you learned the cost

They had so much to give, you needed to receive
They turned your life around; so many others too
Which is why now, your tears are falling blue
